| Tom Hanks calls Mormons UnAmerican | | Tom Hanks calls Mormons who supported Prop 8 Unamerican in a recent interview. What about the people of other religions that supported Prop 8, are they Un-American too? In recent years we have heard others get mad about Palin's "real Americans" comment and some people being told not supporting Bush during a war was unAmerican. What is unAmerican? Personally I think people are starting to use the term to label people who do not agree with them. But really that is what the country was founded on....voicing your opinion even if it was different that what other people thought. That is American. Tell me what you think? I've ready the book by Dan Brown and i tell-im not that fan with books but i was not able to put down this particular book.I've read it until dawn. Everything you want is in this story - from love story to suspense to great action, regligion, great traveling and many more...Every genre i've mentioned is in superlative degree. I even thought that Dan Brown would release Angels and Demons before da vinci because the book was older.Ohhh! I can't wait for the movie this May and im very reluctant how the movie industry will pull a cinematic presentation from the book. s well.~~TINA~~ | |

| Tom Hanks best movies and the not so good.. | | He is one of my favorite actors in hollywood. My most favorite of all is Forrest Gump. Then the terminal with Catherine zeta jones, then Castaway were he played as a FedEx Supervisor or Manager who was cast away in an island for years, Saving private ryan which is the name of my boyfriend, Philadelphia, Sleepless in Seattle and many more. I feel that Hanks did a wonderful job in Cast Away. He was able to carry large portions of screen time on his own, keeping that time from becoming boring or tedious. The film was also very touching and sad in certain moments, and I felt that Hanks played the emotional portions perfectly?Where you as impressed with him as I was? | |

Never has one man do so much to so many people (without be a serial killer) It sucked that Jenny was a hoosie and forrest still loved her but he was kinda retarded and she loved him so it balanced out. But even though he was not so smart he did know more than people and he was a very brave man. | |
